CB Radio Live Privacy Policy

CB Radio Live is operated by Bertram Technology Solutions, LLC. This policy explains what data the app collects, why it is used, and how users can request deletion.

Data We Collect

• Account data: handle ID, optional profile picture, password hash, account identifiers, subscription tier, and authentication tokens.
• Advertiser account data: business name, contact name, email address, password hash, verification status, campaign assets, targeting selections, schedules, and placement activity.
• Location data: approximate/current location while the app is used to determine nearby public channels and map nearby users.
• Microphone and voice data: microphone audio while push-to-talk is active. CB Radio Live transmits live voice to users in the same public or private channel and does not record or store live voice audio. Audio submitted for an optional Road Report request may be processed by configured speech and AI providers to prepare and deliver that report.
• Presence and activity: online status, active channel, talk-lock state, channel membership, timestamps, and cooldown state.
• Billing data: subscription status and payment provider identifiers. Payment card data is handled by Stripe, Google Play Billing, or applicable payment providers, not directly by CB Radio Live.
• Technical data: server logs, IP address, device/network diagnostics, and error information used for reliability, abuse prevention, and support.

How We Use Data

• Provide nearby public app channels, private channels, push-to-talk, map dots, and account access.
• Enforce one active speaker, talk time limits, cooldowns, subscriptions, and abuse prevention.
• Process subscriptions and account status.
• Review, schedule, deliver, and report aggregated engagement for sponsored pins, audio advertising, and paid On Air programming.
• Maintain security, diagnose bugs, and improve service reliability.
• Review profile pictures for prohibited nudity and explicit sexual content before publication.

Sharing

Location/presence, profile pictures, and voice are shared with users in the same public or private channel as needed for app functionality. New profile pictures are sent to OpenAI's automated moderation service before publication to detect prohibited nudity and explicit sexual content. Optional Road Report requests may use configured speech and AI providers. CB Radio Live does not record or store ordinary live voice audio. We also use service providers such as hosting providers, Google Maps, Stripe, and Google Play Billing. We do not sell personal data.

Driving Safety

Pay attention to the road. Do not interact with CB Radio Live while driving if doing so may distract you or violate the law. Pull over safely before reading screens, changing settings, joining channels, or managing subscriptions.

Retention And Deletion

Users can request account deletion in the app or at /delete-account. Deleting an account removes account records, presence, memberships, and related app data from active systems, except records retained when required for legal, security, billing, or fraud-prevention reasons.
